Non-thirdgen, but please help
OK, 89 Blazer. 4.3L 4x4 utterly stock. Wiper Motor died, so i bought a new one. Well, the three bolts that hold it on sheared off (still working on that one), but the reason i'm confused is because when i connect the motor to the harness, and turn on the switch, i get nothing. no movement of the motor, no noise, nuthin. i for one am stumped. please help, weatherman says lots of snow in the forcast.

It might be that it only works when its bolted in because it uses the bolts to ground it to the body ??? Not sure just an idea, try holding it on a ground somewhere when you test it.
