non-Thirdgen tire info needed plz

Not really Thirdgen related but the tires I would like to use cam off one.

I was thinking of replacing a set of 225/75/15 with a nice set of 215/65/15 tires.

The 225/75/15 are on a wagon [1980 buick electra estate 350x] and I think I would like the lower aspect ratio, those feel a bit squishy and tall. I never carry anything in it, tow with it and 99% of the time it just me in it so ground clearnace should not be an issue.

I have no idea what gear ratio I have but was hoping somone would be able to tell me which direction my spedo will be off or if im nuts. I just dont really have the loot for new tires and I have that good set of cooper 215/65/15 sitting around.

Your speedo will be off by 83%, meaning that you will running 83% slower than what the speedo is showing. Go for it if you want, it doesn't matter. I always do what i want no matter what others say.

I think what you meant to say, is you will only be going 83% of the speed the Speedo Says your going

No reason not to run them, other than they will prolly look Stupid.
