What can cause the fuel pressure to go down when accelerating?

Whats up everyone?
I have a problem with my fuel pressure going down while reving the engine at idle! Any ideas on what would cause this?

yeah, the injectors are letting off the built up pressure when you rev your engine

How many PSI is it dropping? In my chilton it says a 8-10psi drop during accelleration is normal. but it could be a weak fuel pump, or dirty fuel filter.

Its dropping down in the 25-30 lbs range. When it goes down in the 25lbs range the motor starts to run rough. The rough running motor starts at aroung 3000 rpm & continues all the way to redline. I have another post that goes into this further, please read !!

sounds like fuel pump. Make sure your gauge isnt to blame first though.

Better not hit WOT for a while
