Starter Hookup, & Distribuitor

Okay... two questoins... and please forgive me, this is the first time i've swapped an engine.. . i forgot to lable a couple of things...

I had to get a starter off of an 86 chevy truck because the flywheel i got to replace the one that broke on my 700r4 was a little larger, and i needed the offset starter... first of all, I'm not sure what other wire i need to hook up to the starter... is one of these it? I'm pretty sure the one with 2 red wires is to go to ground...

Secondly, i got a Mallory Unilite Distrib, and Coil to replace the distrib i had that was put together using pieces of dead ones (Frankin-distribuitor). any sugguestions on how i can wire this? it came with instructions, but they aren't that well written...

also, do i need this thing for the distrib hook up?

again, i'm sorry... i've never done this before, and electrical is NOT my strong suit!!!!!

Thanks
Pete

oh, one more thing, with the starter... the new one i got has 2 of the smaller hookups. (the large is for POS from the battery, the small is a switch?) but yea, there are two of them, anyone know which i need to hook it upto, or does it matter?

and with just the POS from the starter being hooked up, should i be able to turn my raido on and interrior lights? caus nothing else works, even headlights...
