Blinker issue

Ok first off I am not home with my car. I am just the middle man. My dad reminded me of a problem I was having with the blinker on my car. He said he would turn the blinker in one direction (he is old and couldnt remember) and it would just iluminate the arrow in the car but not blink. Any ideas?

Re: Blinker issue

Replace the flasher unit under the driver side dash. A $4.00 part at the most.

Re: Blinker issue

If it blinks correctly on one side but the light stays on on the other side, it can't be the flasher.

It's because one of your light bulbs is out on the side that doesn't blink.

Change the burned-out bulb.

Re: Blinker issue

Could be the socket, too. There's only one flasher relay for both turn signals, so if one still works correctly then it's the bulb or socket.

Re: Blinker issue

i am having this same problem, on my driver side in the front neither blinker blinks, they also do not come on when i have the park lights on. only the left turn signal arrow is solid inside the car no matter if i have the lever down for a left turn or if i just have the park lights on. however, the bulbs are not blown because they do come on and flash when i have my four ways on ... is this a socket issue, also, if so how do you fix that
