Easy DIY electronic turn signal flasher.
Pulled the flasher socket from my 97 Grand Prix, and installed one of my modified flasher modules with adjustable timing. Installs in 5 minutes, with no alterations to the factory Firebird wiring.
Crimp a 1/4" male spade to the blue and violet wires of the new socket, and insert the tabs into the F-body's stock 2-pin thermal flasher socket. In my case, blue to blue, violet to violet. Be sure to observe polarity if your socket differs. Ground the black wire, and enjoy turn signals that don't vary with engine load!
