clutch switch LS1/T56 swap question

i see the green and purple wires in the auto shifter connector. i also found the purple and green connector tied up by the fuse box. (car is a 1992 camaro rs auto). does this connector need to go to the clutch switch on the pedal? and can i leave the auto shifter connector alone if i use the connector by the fuse box? also, will my hatch release work? thanks guys.

Re: clutch switch LS1/T56 swap question

Yes it will work, but you need to switch the wires on the hatch plug located behind the radio and air duct. You will find a plug and another connector one marked auto and the other loose, just switch them.
