Points to electronic ignition

I have a possibly brand new points dist, cap and rotor and for cost looking to get a conversion kit.
1. Is it really worth it
2. Is it hard to install
3. How reliable is it
4. What kits have been used and worked well

Re: Points to electronic ignition

when i was in high school i owned a 72 nova and it was CONSTANTLY burning up points. i put in a mallory unilite conversion kit and never had a single problem with it. it is super reliable in my opinion. and if i remmber right it wasn't hard to put in at all.
