Power window problem

MY passanger side window when rolled down only goes up small small amounts at a time. It will go up a few inches then i have to wait like 5 minutes and try again and it will go up like another inch. It goes down fine.

Even trying to pull it up wont work.

Do you think it is the motor or could it be something else

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated

That would be a motor problem. The breaker inside the motor is "resetting". Replace the window motor and all should be good again!

Motor or the window is binding and causing the thermal switch to shut down until it cools enough to allow a restart.

Try adjusting the window guides (there are two at the top of the door frame). You'll have to remove the door panel. Pics in the following link, post #6:

We sell new power window motors.Here's a link over to them if you would like to check them out.The Pontiac & Chevy ones are the same.For some reason the single ones are only in the Chevy section.I'll have to have this fixed.

For the motor install, check this link - it really makes it easy, and after 2 years, I've had no issues doing it this way:
