voltmeter working right?
I noticed in my 86 IROC that my voltmeter read just under 13. Is this where it should be? I can't remember what the gauge read before. If anyone could give me some info on this, I would appreciate it.

Meter Maid

When you’re at 1000 RPM the meter should be at approximately 14.

You can test it by plugging a test meter into the lighter socket.

The needle bounced back up to about 14 ish suddenly when I turned my lights, heater, radio on to draw on the alternator. The way it acted, I think the gauge was acting up.
