Check engine light

Started my 91 Z-28 and right of the bat, the check engine soon light came on, then the engine began to run on and off, open the hood and began to touch cables, when I check the module located rigth on to of the intake manifold, the engine run well, so I squeezed the connection a few times and the engine will almost stop, any how, went back inside and noticed that the check engine soon ligh was gone, and the engine ran fine after that. what module is that located on the intake maniflod ?(newB here) thanks for any info.

MAP sensor is on top of 90 -92 TPI intake

TPS is on the pass side and IAC is underneath the TB.

Re: Check engine light

the other one is the coolant temp sender (CTS) for the ECM IT has a weatherpack connector, the one for the cold start injector is the brown one and has a injector type connector with metal wire clip. The top is a hose pipe for the water hose to the TB

Re: Check engine light

make sure that your wires going to it are good..take the connector off and even wiggle the wires one by one to see if you find any loose connections. Also wiggle each wire while the motor is running to see if the motor shuts off....I actually made a video last night about how to take the pins out of the connectors and how to check the wiring..check out my youtube channel..search KLOWNY1969 and go to my video labeled how to fix/inspect electrical connectors..also subscribe for future 3rd gen related "how to videos" thanks!
