Couple of gauge cluster questions
I'm getting ready to wire in some new gauges and want to make sure I have a couple of things correct since I'm not finding the answers readily on the wiring diagrams.
1. Turn signal and high beam indicators: does the harness wire provide power or ground to turn the lights on?
2. Check engine light: same question: is the signal from the ECM ground or power?
The rest of the signal wires for each gauge are easy to identify as are options for overall power and ground for the replacement gauges.

The stock harness of course provides those things you mentioned.
Are you asking the question because you plan to replace a harness?
If no, you don’t have to worry about the Service Engine Soon light, signals or ☼ indicators.

Re: Cluster Fluster
Replacing it all with aftermarket gauges and wiring LED's in for the turn signals, high beam indicator, and SES light so I want to hook them up correctly.
If I'm reading the diagram correctly, the turn signals and high beam indicator are a 12v signal and the SES light gets ground from the ECM. But I'd like to confirm this before wiring it all in and finding out its all reversed.
