Proform electric water pump - SOLD
This water pump was installed in my firebird and used 15-20 hours. Has some nicks in the red anodize but otherwise in great shape. Please pardon my dusty work shop - the black part of the pump has no scratches or anything - it's just the picture.

LOL! yea! had to prime the oil pump before firing up the camaro - and the shaft I bought didn't have the collar to hold back the oil pressure in the distrib hole.... so I "fixed" it

Jegs' part number for this pump is 778-66225R
On the contrary, it's awesome having an electric pump! I had it set up so the pump and electric fan would both run even after I shut off the car. That way the engine was always cooled down properly. You can also throw a switch on it or something like that so if you're a drag-racer you can run the cooling system during staging without running the car.
If you frequently look at the 'parts for sale' forum you'll see an aweful lot of stuff I'm selling - unfortunately I have a project car that's coming apart and I was only able to use some of it on the new project. I *really* hate selling off stuff for less than I spent on it only a year ago but it's also a shame to have a ton of almost-new parts sitting around the garage collecting dust.

you will have to make changes. with a stock serp setup you have a reverse flow water pump and it's one of the main pulleys in the system. When I was running this pump I had just PS and an alternator, so I just ran a V-belt setup. If you're clever you might find an alternate routing that works but I'm not sure.

They sell simple to install kits for the thirdgen that can mount the alternator and power steering pump low and is driven from the crank only. Saves even more in rotational mass .
