MAF from TPI

I have a MAF from a 305 TPI motor. Fins and wires are all perfect. It is in awesome USED condition. Removed from a running TPI. It functions the way it should, no problems. The car is being parted out after being hit on driver side. PM me for any questions.

Thanks,

Phil-

Re: MAF from TPI

I would like to get $75 shipped, I will send it priority. It's in great condition as I stated in the post. As Im sure you know buying a reman or new one at any local parts store, GM or pretty much anywhere they want upwards of $100 for the remanufactured units and as much as $300 for the new ones. This unit is only a few years old and was taken of a IROC-Z that ran perfect. It was taken off because the car is getting an LS1 swap and it is of course not compatible. I think $75 shipped is good price, since shipping to you might be as much as $20 because I live in Florida so Im really only asking for around $50 for the MAF.

Thanks,

Phil-

1985 MAF's are a one year model. This MAF is 1986-1989. The 85's MAF was only used for that one year. And of course in 1990 they went to Speed Density until 1992.

Re: MAF from TPI

I blew up my original MAF years ago with the nitrous, and installed a MAF from an '87 vette. Runs great with my '85 so I don't see you having a problem with it.

Re: MAF from TPI

Well I know that they will fit and hook up fine. I do know the part number is different on the 85's and the 86-89's. I always assumed they had just a small difference between them maybe in the way the ECM read the MAF. But if you say it will run the same, then you are more than welcome to buy it. Noone has dibs on it yet so whooever wants it PM me, I'll ship to US $75, via Priority Mail and I will ship to canada for around $80.

Re: MAF from TPI

Thanks man, but I'm not looking for a MAF. I was mearly replying to RedBravo's question if it will work, and it should be fine as it's been working good on my car for a few years now.
