Brand new pair of RHS Pro Torker heads. $535 shipped to U.S. or $495 local pickup. This is an AWESOME deal!

Specs:

Port Volume is 170cc Intake 67cc exhaust
Port Dimension Intake 1.200" X 2.025" exhaust 1.350" X 1.400"
23 Deg valve angle
76 CC Combustion chamber 083 / 217 casting style high flow design
Heads are assembled with new 2.02 One piece stainless steel intake valves
Heads are assembled with new 1.60 One piece stainless steel exhaust valves
Heads are assembled with new 3/8 screw-in-studs and guide plates
Heads are assembled with new stamp steel valve spring retainers
Heads are assembled with hardened valve keepers
Heads are assembled with new. 550 lift springs
Heads are assembled with new valve seals
Heads are complete and ready to install

These would have worked great with my current setup, but I decided to go a different route with the lower end. Project is taking 10 times longer than expected simply because it's hard to make up my mind, lol.

I did paint these heads. I used a high temp primer, high temp red and a high temp clear coat. They look great.

Re: NEW RHS Heads 76cc 2.02/1.60

Tech Notes
Flat Milling: .006" per cc
Angle Milling: .0075" per cc (excessive milling can cause intake manifold misalignment)
Head Bolt Torque: Refer to cylinder head bolt manufacturer's specifications
Rocker Stud Torque: 45 lb/ft
Intake Manifold Torque: 35 lb/ft
Spring Pocket Machining: Can be machined to 1.550" maximum diameter, cannot be machined deeper
Pushrod Length: Measuring with length checker (COMP Cams® #7705) required to verify pushrod geometry
Piston to Valve Clearance: Must be verified -minimum clearance is .080" intake and .100" exhaust
Retainer to Guide Clearance: Must always be measured when using high lift cams
Chamber to Dome Clearance: Must always be checked with domed pistons, clearancing may be necessary
Chamber Volume: Varies due to valve margins and dishes, should always be verified before installation
Valve Guide Clearance: Must be checked due to the variance in valve stem diameters between manufacturers
Recommended clearance: intake .0015"-.0016", exhaust .002"-.0025"
Water jackets require flushing prior to cylinder head installation
Header/Spark Plug Clearance: Spark plug/ wire boot clearance verification is required prior to header installation.
Minor modifications may be necessary in order to achieve proper clearance.

Installation And Application Notes
*ALWAYS check for proper rocker arm geometry and pushrod clearance before final installation of cylinder heads.
All heads with slotted pushrod holes are designed to be used without guide plates and with OE 1.5 ratio stamped rockers,
but tolerances in the factory lifter bore locations may mandate additional pushrod clearance in order to insure proper
rocker arm geometry. Be extremely careful not to remove too much material when machining for additional clearance.
RHS™ will not be held responsible for product failure due to excessive machining. When using aftermarket rocker arms,
camshafts and/or engine blocks, RHS™ recommends machining the pushrod holes round and modifying the rocker pedestals
to accommodate the use of guide plates and hardened pushrods. All applications utilizing self-aligning rocker arms require
a round pushrod hole for clearance.
----------
Features
• Optimal port design for greater flow, better atomization & enhanced dynamics
• Unique multi-angled intake & radiused exhaust valve seats for increased flow and horsepower output
• Hardened valve seats for exceptional durability even when used in extreme applications with harsh fuels
• More efficient water jacket design for improved cooling and thermal conductivity, and reduced risk of detonation
• Thick deck faces with added material to allow angle milling for increased compression
• Revised combustion chamber design for excellent combustion thermodynamics and enhanced fuel efficiency
• All accessory bolt holes drilled and tapped to exact tolerances

What kind of effect would these have on a basically stock 88 350 tpi?

Re: NEW RHS Heads 76cc 2.02/1.60

All depends on what setup you have now. Do you know what heads you have? Compression ratio? Combustion chamber volume on your setup?

Lots of questions for you to answer. You probably have 64cc heads and these are 76cc. If that's the case then you will lose compression. If you give me your casting number on your heads (if you know that) then I may be able to tell you how these will work.

Re: NEW RHS Heads 76cc 2.02/1.60

If you are seriously interested I can get the contact information for Comp Cams/RHS and they can assist you will the techno side of your application and be able to tell you if these will work or not.

From what I know if you're setup with 64cc heads then 76cc heads wont work. THe only way it might work is for you to take the heads to the machine shop and shave them down a bit and use a thinner gasket. I was told to use a .015" gasket thickness instead of the stock .039/.040 thick head gaskets.

Re: NEW RHS Heads 76cc 2.02/1.60

That's ok man ... I guess I'm too far away to start messing with the heads ... I should probably finish the intake and exhaust side as well as cams first

Re: NEW RHS Heads 76cc 2.02/1.60

well based on what I know about heads (a little more than you maybe, lol) you will more than likely have 64cc combustion chambers.

A nice set of vortec style heads would work nicely. Are you thinking of doing more with your cam?

you're going to obviously do your own tuning with the chip?

Re: NEW RHS Heads 76cc 2.02/1.60

My best advice is to find someone local who knows our tpi/tbi setups and get them to recommend a few things.

Now, I highly recommend Brian Harris with tbichips.com & tpichips.com He is excellent with tuning and excellent with cam/head suggestions.

His number is 336-471-2827 tell him Sean (the chiropractor) sent you he'll treat you with respect and honesty.
