[OBE - Trans being rebuilt] T56 low-mileage - 1994 LT1 MM6 version
Trans is now being rebuilt with viper upgrade. Soon to be forsale again, but this ad is now Overcome By Events
I picked this up as a spare (from a wreaked '94 with less than 10K miles) for my car, but since learned how to rebuild them, so it's been sitting covered in the garage untouched for 10years. It still looks brand new, and spins nicely in all 6+R gears.
This will mount directly behind an LT1 or SBC motor. LT1-T56 swaps into 3rdgens are well documented.
Includes:
Transmission
Bellhousing
Clutch fork
Slave spacer
Asking $1500 + S/H (about $130, or can meet within 100mi of 21921).
Since I didn't install it in my car, I can't vouch for it's road condition. For an additional $200+parts, I'll take it completely apart and inspect every part, then reassembly with any parts needed and performance shim it. In addition, if opened, I can add any high performance parts during the rebuild that you want/need, to make the transmission handle up to 700 lb-ft of TQ, for just the additional cost of the hipro parts.

Any questions, feel free to ask. I can open it back up for upgrades, make a retro-fit or LS1 from it, or other customizations you might want.

Re: [OBE - Trans being rebuilt] T56 low-mileage - 1994 LT1 MM6 version
I still have a stock LT1 rebuilt T56, that's linked in post #7 above.
I have another stock LT1 T56 that's apart, planned to become a retrofit version. (But I could customize it, nothing's bought for it yet)
On the LSx side, I have an LS6 GTO version, an LS7 Heavy Duty one, and a LS1 hybrid-GTO version, all rebuilt.
thanks
mike
