i have a performer rpm hydraulic roller cam for a sbc oem roller block. this was exactly what i wanted, but as it works out i need a small base circle cam for the stroker its going in to.
i received the cam from summit tuesday, paid $229.95. installed it in my engine on the stand last night. was GENTLY turning over by hand to check for interference, and the #1 rod barely touches a cam lobe.
i dont know which lobe it actually touched, there are no marks or witness marks, but it did touch.
i can't return to summit because it has been installed.
$150 shipped to lower 48 for a 3 day old cam that has less than 1 complete revolution on it!
