Guaging interest on built 700r4 + Converter
Im am planning to switch my car to a 6 speed and am guaging on what kind of interest is out there for my auto transmission.
It is a 700r4 that has been built with Red Alto Forward, Overrun, Reverse Input and Low/Reverse clutches. The 3-4 clutch pack has the new raybestos z-pac clutches. It has been upgraded with 5 pinion upper and lower planetaries. It has a TCI full manual valve body and all of the accumulators blocked off so it has a very firm shift. The converter is a 4000 stall non-lockup with an anti-balloning plate. The setup has about 3500 miles on it and still works fine. I have a 650 hp LT1 behind it and have made countless passes with it. The transmission is still in the car so obviously I cant show any pics. I am thinking in the price range of $700. Anyone interested let me know.
