not to steal your thread but may I please ask a question...
how do you feel about the HSR upgrade?
do you feel it enhances the value of the car rather than keeping it stock?

Re: Holley Stealthram
in short, yes the HSR would increase the value of the car. I cant imagine that it would go for the same or less with that system on there. The power increase on the 350tpi engine with the HSR installed is DEFINITELY worth some coin. because the TPI intake is for low end torque, by installing this larger system you gain a LOT of top end power. Back in the day I spent some time at the HSR unofficial chat forum site and people seemed comfortable in saying that on the stock 350 TPI engine it was a gain of 54hp!! You be the judge.

Re: Holley Stealthram
Not really sure how much value it would add. I never installed it on a stock 350, but on my 355 went from running 12.7 w/ tpis bigmouth manifold and runners to 12.2 just by changing to HSR. Then found out my muffler was junk. It came loose from the clamp one night felt like I hit the juice. Went from running 12.2@106 to 11.6@118. Well worth the $$

Re: Holley Stealthram
I am buying a 383 TPI , and read a lot about these...but i still dont know if i would need it ????
The TPI has all the stock intake stuff on it .
Some say with this it will work and i would have problems getting it to run right with the oem one ????
can somebody please clear this up for me !

Re: Holley Stealthram
Upgrading to any aftermarket intake will be better than stock. Stock tpi is for low end torque and will starve the motor. HSR will give you more top end and claim to add about 50 hp on stock 350 motor over tpi. I never ran the stock tpi, but did use the tpis bigmouth manifold, runners on my 355 which same design as stock but bigger ports. Car would only pull to bout 5500, I added HSR it was worth the $$$. Car pulled tp 6500 no problem and ran 11.50's na weighing around 3500 pounds.

Re: Holley Stealthram
Not sure on how it would run with stock intake. This intake wouldn't work on LT1 motors.
