Re: GM SBC custom intake
Does the top come off to expose the plenum or is that just a cover for show?
Pics of the underside please - particularly that alum plate that is bolted on

Any idea what is going on w/that "skirt" all the way around the base of the....plenum, is it?
How about, any idea what fuel rails it "wants"?
the thing is definitely a unique looking unit.

Re: GM SBC custom intake
I'm still trying to figure out the "turtle shell", or "skirt" long the bottom of the plenum. I'm interested in buying this thing, but want to understand it better. Do the runner protrude into the plenum? Like the BMW M5, "Box of snakes" intake? So the "skirt" isn't a wall, it's actually part of the plenum? Odd looking but I like that it's different.

Thanks.
IDK what to think of it! On the inside, it looks fabricated. IDK. It looks like the rear runners are shorter than the fronts?

Wow, I wish I knew what the history on that was/what it was designed for. I've never seen anything like it and not sure what is going on with what you're calling anti-reversion plates. I've been very into some more obscure especially SBC stuff and I've never seen anything like this.
