Axle/Gears: also under rated
yea, I don`t think you`ll be able to keep a stock hood. If you can get an intake that`ll sit only as high as tall bbc valve covers sit you might be in. They did it with the lt1 and ls1 but bbc never had a low rise FI intake.

I had a 2003 8.1 But it would have been alot of work. I would highly doubt it the stock pulleys would fit under the hood the way they route, but if ya can do it, show me how, cuz i still have that 496 block all together with a computer waiting.

i think that with the 91 454 block and 10.1 pistons i can modify an old lo-rise 2x4 intake for injectors. the plenum will be the easy part. the fuel rails not to bad but i need to know what mods to do to the injectors??? 30lb i think should be sufficient and a 1000 cfm throttle body. i think it will definitely a runner

i guess i need to get it and throw it in huh. i just got a 1987 iroc. it is a 5-speed car and is tpi. but it has no engine or tranny. the intake is there but is taken apart. it has edelbrock headers and 3" catback flowmaster on it. it also has 17x9 boyd coddington wheels. i got it for 800 bucks. did i get ****? the body is nice but is in need of paint. it has tan interior. some of it is pretty rough like the rear left cargo side panel. and carpet etc. any body with a decent tan panel i will be interested if not too expensive
