350 TPI
215/215 @050 lift camshaft
305 heads with valve strings to match
hooker 2055 headers

im going to be doing this for next summer and would like to know what kind of times i will be pulling with those minor mods

It's always hard to say, but without chip tuning & other TPI improvements, and if all you have is stock stall, I'd say it'll remain in the 14's.

What has it run in the past?

well right now i have in my 305 and was panning on swaping in a 350 and getting those mods . i was also planning on getting a 2800 stall converter. then later on i was planning on getting a chip done up and get a stealth ram induction unit.
EDIT: oj and im also going to be throughing in 4:10 gears

so if i got all the stuff i listed plus 2800 stall,chip,stealthram u think it will pull me to low 13's ?

anybody car to chime in? i would like to get a fairly close estimate just to know what to expect but if all goes well i guess i will find out by mid spring

i got a stock L98 on 2.77 gears with 2800 stall. with eibach prokit springs and adjustable shocks and only full exhaust, i ripped off a 14.02 at 96 mph. i know i could do 13.9's with it. 60 foot time was 1.94 but my tires were bad and i could use LCA's.

now i have new tires, and LCA's with brackets. should hit 13.8's i hope.


you with that cam and your 305 heads, probly 14.1 ish to 13.8 depending on the launch. how much lift does that cam give you? 305 heads raise compression but not sure if they flow as good as l98 iron heads that 350 L98's had. i heard of someone with Zz4 cam and bigger runners doing 13.9's and some in the 13.7's with similar mods. so i think if you can launch, high 13's as is wont be a problem. also depends on your elevation tho. LOL Edit, i see your in PA. how close is that too pittsburgh???

stealth ram and 2800stall should net some serious gains. i would say 13.4's-13.5's with good gearing and launch. but as long its tuned right, it will run good

pittsburg is about a 2 hour drive from here and the cam is .500/500 lift. i am hoping to get low 13's with what im getting next summer and with nitrous i know what ill be hitting 12's just am kindof cautious to run nitrous. any other ways that i could project into the 12's and still have enough gas to drive from gas station to gas station? this is my summer daily driver so i dont want to get too crzy with it

make the car lighter LOL

12's is possible with a bit bigger cam, and deffinately better heads with that stealth ram. the heads are probly gonna hold you back some
