350 engine block, buy??

ok, i was looking on craigslist for a block to start on my 383 and found this for 50 bucks.http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/pts/528837321.html
its bored .60 over. will that be enough for a 383 or is that as much as it can be done safely? so, basically would this be a good buy to start up on?

found another one and thought i'd just post on this so i dont have to start a new one.

For the sake of technical correctness, it's 0.060" over. I'll let "60 over" go, but not ".60 over".

Anyway, I'd pass on that one. Looks like it's been decked as well. Since it's been sleeved, it's had a pretty major problem already. .060" over is what's typically considered the max safe overbore, so if there's anything wrong with any of the cylinder walls you're looking at another sleeve job, or a paper weight. Even if the cylinder walls are straight, it would be wise to have the cylinders sonic checked for wall thickness - '76 wasn't exactly one of the "golden years" for GM production.
