84 camaro berlinetta motor mount replacement HELP

My 1984 camaro berlinetta is getting swapped right now for a 350. I had planned to replace the two motor mounts but after I pulled out my 305 I went to take off the bolts holding the motor mount to the sub frame and found I needed to hold the top of the bolt with a ratchet and loosen the nut on the reverse side but it seems that there is no access to the backside with any kind of tool. Since the berlinettas don't have a full frame I believe it is a little different. Would I have to take apart the whole front end to get to something on the bolt??

You might consider a search. Members have accomplished the removal with a variety of tools (and cursing). With no springs in the car, removal would be a piece of cake.

There are holes in the sides of the K-member that a ratchet with a joint by the socket end (see below) will fit into IIRC. For other angles, a standard box ended wrench will work better. I don't know of any differences in the Berlinetta frame although some had brackets between some of the components.

There is no difference between a Berlinetta frame and any other non-convertible 3rd gen.
