4 bolt main tpi?
I have a 4 bolt main 350 block out of a 79 chevy 1500 and i was wondering if I could put a tpi setup on it? What would I need to do this?

If the TPI is from a '85 or '86 model year, bolt it on. Make sure the knock sensor, temp gauge sender, and fan switch go over to the other engine.
The chances of the '79 truck heads being worth a hoot are somewhere between slim and none, leaning toward none. If the TPI came off of a 305, you'd be better off putting those heads along with the TPI on the 350 block.

Re: 4 bolt main tpi?
also i would put 22 pound injectors on... 305's came with 19 and the 350 tpi's used 22 pound injectors.... of course the computer will need to be tuned as well... i think you may even need a computer from a 350 tpi car because the proms are very different from a 305 to 350 car...... thats what i would do...

MAF tune isn't that sensitive to displacement changes.
22 lb injectors are only needed under full power conditions, and even then, 19's can get the job done. Since no mention was made of a cam change from what came in the truck 350, assuming the truck cam is used, the 19's would be fine.
