Re: cadillac 32 valve

A forward 350?
A front wheel drive 350?

Tips usually are in response to questions.
Good questions are asked with a fair amount of detail.

Re: cadillac 32 valve

A fwd 350?
This entire proposal is ill-advised, but before I list why, I assume you mean a TH350C with the correct bellhousing pattern, as used with the early 2.8L V6 in S-10s and '82 Camaros? Doesn't exist, those used TH200Cs.
You could use a 4L60E from a '94-'02 V6 Camaro, or a 700R-4 from an '87-'92 V6 Camaro, but it's still ill-advised.
The potential is there, since they have decent-flowing heads, and you can do custom pistons, custom cams ( at a cost around $1200 per set of 4 ), and even forced induction, but the 4.8L LSx has more benefits at less cost, more strength, less problems, more aftermarket support, and more help here on tgo.org.
If you're just doing it to be different, it isn't worth it. If you're thinking it because you already have one, it'll end up costing more to get it driveable than selling it to a Fiero guy and buying a complete used 4.8L LSx.
Best advice you're going to get: don't start this project.
There aren't even any adaptable motor mounts, you'll need custom-fabricated. Same for exhaust, especially if you want headers.

Re: cadillac 32 valve

Well I want to keep it front wheel drive but I just need to find either a 350 or a 327 that will fit, I need a heavy track car that's why I need to find a motor, someone told me to look up Jasper engines but I don't wanna spend $4000 on a motor that's gonna need lots of parts and money in the long run the tranny in the cadillac is **** anyways and the motor leaks worse than a first gen cummins.

Re: cadillac 32 valve

Keep WHAT front wheel drive? ALL Camaros have always been rear wheel drive, and so far noone has ever successfully completed a conversion to all-wheel-drive, let alone thought about trying to convert one to front wheel drive, that would be outright dumb.
It reads like you may be wanting a Camaro trans for your Caddy, if so, that's not going to work either, for the above reason.
An old 327 has no practical advantages, 350s can be adapted to FWD transmissions, the Fiero crowd does it every day, but they also do the LSx
For track use, heavier is never good.
Stop trolling.

Re: cadillac 32 valve

It's not trolling, I race heavier vehicles, my last races was a 3/4 ton 1995 Chevrolet van with a 383, full cage and a supercharger, if you don't wanna help cool but if not go away, some people like to make things nobody else has

Re: cadillac 32 valve

Depending on your budget, try checking a local salvage yard for an LS4 (325 cid \ 5.3L)and a matching 4T65E-HD transmission from a Chevy Monte Carlo SS or Pontiac Grand Prix GXP. That will allow you to keep the front wheel drive and give you a solid base engine to work with.
