alternator recognition? What's it off?

Transmission: T5
alternator recognition? What's it off?
Hi all.
Been a long winter! Still building my car. Hope to be in the bodyshop for the top coats/graphics by the 1st May.
Anyway, I have found an alternator off a 3rd gen in my loft that is surplus to requirements. It was sent from a 3rd gen breakers in Florida, but didn't fit. The top bracket was on the wrong side, although it fitted the 1991/92 alloy accessory engine brackets.
Here are a couple of photos
The numbers on it are 1101142 85A and M136D 12V NEG
Anybody recognise it?
