bad camaro RS

im running afr 195 cc heads what sparl plugs you useing? im having probs with plug wire clearence on last tube on drivers side but they are all a tight fit i dont wanna burn my $80 wires i tried to find accel shorty header plugs but they said they dont make em for aluminum heads i need threads to be 3/4" long thanks

I'm using the Autolite 3924 plugs with my Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads and Hooker long tubes. That is the plug Edelbrock recommends. Before I put my engine in the car I trial fitted the headers and noticed the close clearance on the #7 plug so I dimpled the tube a little. Ever since I got my timing and air/fuel ratio set right I haven't had a problem with melting my plug wire boots.
