Should i go w/ a high flo cat?

I would do a quick search on this but i'm in class so i'm just makin a quick post. As we all know, i'm running no muffler and my car as is right now is quite loud. I'm thinking of maybe getting a high flo cat cause i looked under my car and mine is starting to look like crap and i figure, hey, why not? If i go ahead w/ this, will my car get louder and is a high flo worth it? I do realize that more flo is better but still

all cats are "high flow" now a days. There are no "low flow" pellet filled cats for sale to make the comparison anymore.

I would only change if you are going to change to 3" pipe all the way. I changed my entire exhaust at the same time to 3" and made a nice difference.

Car: '89 GTA
Engine: ZZ6TPI
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: Borg Warner 3.70:1
Most replacement cats flow better than the factory GM crap. The ceramic brick inside is about half as long as the OEM one.

I would recomend it! I installed a Catco one that I got from Summit for $110, it made a nice difference and made the car a louder with a deeper tone!

Car Sound is also a good cat manufacturer. Definitely replace your stock cat with a new one.
