Has anyone done this? I am thinking about putting two magnaflows back there kind of like this picture.

why not just have the mufflers and then the pipes? i think it looks better that way....theres a guy that works at the local convenience store around here that has a thirdgen, TT2's, and 2 mufflers out back.....doesnt look like its a super powerful car, the mufflers arent big either....i'll see if i can get a pic of it for ya

I just think it would look pretty good to have one of these on each side. Kind of a "*****" look, but not really. More of just a euro look. That, and my SLP stainless muffler keeps cracking welds.

your preference is what matters, but trust me...people see ya with those tips sticking out back and theyre gonna immediatly think R|CER! R|CER! HE HAS A FART TIP ON HIS R|CER CAMARO! know why?
made by 'Matrix Motorsports' which if you didnt know, is one of the biggest fart tip companies out there ;-) but i see your point.....personally i'd rather see something like in the first pic although i'd still probably first think 'RCIE!!!!'

The mufflers are mine (as in made by me) and the sound is almost annoyingly bassy at low rpms/coasting down in gear. Aside from that, I really like the sound (deep and not alot of upper pitch tone) but, at w.o.t., they are basically non-functional as far as sound dampening which I don't like. I've got some tubing on order so I can finally make a new single cased, dual muffler to fit in the stock location. Hopefully, the extra case size will make things a bit more quiet and extra tip length will bring the bass tone up some.
My car sounds a little simiar to that 240Z but, for the simple fact that my motor is only a few ticks above being stock, obviously mine isn't quite that tough sounding.
I used to have a couple sound clips but ended up deleting them since they turned out sounding like crap (bass inside the car distorted the hell out of the camcorder I used).

Project, thanks for finding that picture. I think it made my decision, not to do it. I like some cars with the mufflers like that, but we can't tuck them up enough to make them look good.

Well, as of tonight (my 90's came in finally), mine are off the car and the new muffler is going on.. (good to see you got your tips on finally Cheez.. looks much better )
