edelbrock 3 in cat back???
has anyone had any expierience with this exhaust i have edelbrock headers and a 3 inch cheap muffler shop exhaust now but when i lowered my car the exhaust was smashed by the axle comming up to it. would anyone possibly know if this system will allow a good enough clearance to not be ruined if i hit a decent bump. i already have a flowmaster 3 in on my 85 trans am and it sounds awesome would this sound similar to the edelbrock exhaust or should i jsut get flowmaster and save the cash

I had the edelbrock 3in catback on my old 91.. never had any probs with the exhaust hitting on anything. Mine wasnt lowered however. My only thought is either the lowering might indeed cause a problem or the exhaust shop botched the over axle part of your exhaust causing it to hit.

i've only heard good things about the edlebrock cat back. its not even that expensive, run you mid 200 range. i think the flow master is more money then that. i was never a fan of the flow master anyhow.
for your exaust being crushed, i would say it was a faulty exaust setup, unless you have some whack springs in there (like cut coils) i steer away from lowering cars also.

jegs has it cheaper i believe. i never shop at summit because of the prices and the attitude i got last time i called. i'm 100% jegs shopper, unless i'm getting an OE replacement part then its dealer only.
