glasspacks?

glasspacks?

I might get a glasspack muffler for my 86 T/A, and then run a tailpipe out under the passenger side door, i know about ground clearence and so forth, but anyone know the quality of glasspacks?


by the way i'm getting them from JC whitney if that helps

when i did my headers i wasn't able to use my cat, so i put a pipe where the cat was, and since i didn't have a muffler it was LOUD so just put on a $15 cherry bomb where the cat was and it sounds great. and i think the only thing with glasspacks is that they wear out, the packing inside starts to go away, and i guess goes back to just being a pipe. so i would say for a temp system, then go for it.

o and don't bother gettin one online, just goto pep boys or something and get one, then u won't pay shipping or anything

i have headers no cat and just a glasspack, and it sounds NOTHING WHAT SO EVER like a dump truck. as soon as i get ahold of a camera i'll get a vid.
