I was actually surprised but my buddy has the 3 chamber Delta Flows 50 series and there is no interior resonance and it is nice deep sound imo..

Re: lookin for best sound
I had a flowmaster on my 91RS LO3, and I took it off for the Edelbrock RPM. The RPM is deeper than the flowmaster 80, but it is not as loud.
There is a link to a vid of my exhaust in my sig. I dont have a clip of the RPM on the L98 yet, but it sounds really nice

Re: lookin for best sound
if you dont like the flowmaster sound, I would try the Hooker Aerochamber cat-back. Many swear by them. Supposedly, they dont have that loud drone inside the car, and they are a little quieter and alot more ... refined outside they car.
Lemme see if I can find some vids for you:

Magnaflow has a deep sound. I recommned this website classicchambered.com Get two 3" x 16" powersticks they have a deep sound but are loud. Check out the videos of the White trans am, black camaro and black GTO

I'd have to say to go with an edelbrock system. Headers wouldnt hurt either unless youv'e already got some.
