Dual exhaust + lowering springs

Has anyone gotten lowering springs and also done a true dual exhaust setup? I was wondering about the ground clearance. I've looked at a few pictures of different dual setups and there's usually a clearance of about 3 to 4 inches, so after lowering, the clearance should be closer to 2 inches right?

In theory yes, but.....

Say you managed 6in of ground clearance (A LOT), then after lowering you have 3in. That is your static height. That means if you add a car load of people, a full tank of gas, and a trunk full of groceries you could almost set your pipes on the ground without even driving it.

Just something to consider...

Re: Dual exhaust + lowering springs

Hey Guys. Still trying to figure out where and how to post my question, but it does have to do with exhaust so you'll have to excuse me. But I do need some serious questions answered regarding my 91 350 5.7 engine and the headers I just installed. I've ditched all the AIR components around the manifold, but does anybody have the remedy to delete the smog pump? I've looked all around online but have found nothing for my engine, only the 305. If anyone can help me out I'd be extremely grateful.
