V6 body with 305....exhaust question
How much power should I gain going from the stock V6 tiny exhaust to a 3 inch Hooker catback and SLP headers w/ y pipe on my transplanted 305?

Re: V6 body with 305....exhaust question
Are you saying you have a 305 V8 breathing through the stock V6 pipes?
If that is the case then I would deff get a good Y-pipe and cat back. I cant quote you a number on horsepower gain but I do know that the factory exhaust on these cars is pretty restrictive and you will notice a change in the cars behavior for sure. I think the V6 pipes are only 2.25in after the cat, not quite enough for a V8 IMO.
