They dont make a crossflow muffler in a Super 44. If you want that get a 80 series.

Depends on what you think sounds good. I think that anything that isnt loud and aggressive dosent sound good in which the 80 series isnt.

There are edelbrock, slp, and borla mufflers go on there websites and listen. Make sure your getting one for your car if your retaining the stock exhaust.

Re: Flowmaster Super 44
I had originally purchased a flowmaster catback system with 1 in 1 out with "hidden" tip (I don't like it to stick out the back, plus the 1 in 1 out flows better...) I ordered my kit from Summit thinking it would come with a super 40.. I got the kit and it actually had a 30 series...??? I called flowmaster and they were surprised it came with that, they said that was an old kit... the tech guy said he like the sound of the 30 better anyways, so I kept it... It is a low rumble, I don't like the drone that the classic 40 series is known for, it doesn't have much of that, but it's loud under open throttle, just right...

Every muffler might sound great but there is still the point of it fitting the stock exhaust set up. You can only use a crossflow muffler which the 40 and 44 series isnt.
Flowmaster has a 80 series crossflow
Cherry bomb has a Vortex cross flow
Borla has a S/S cat back for $981
Mufflex has a couple of cat backs

Those are a couple of options of crossflow setups that you need to keep the stock exhaust. If you want a regular muffler then you need to have a custom setup done which is some times big $$$

Re: Flowmaster Super 44
Exactly my point. He wants a muffler, for a decent one to fit in the stock exhaust around $100. You paid a ton of money to get your complete system installed. A muffler he can do it himself in the driveway.
