Cutting Header Flange
has anyone cut there header flange like shown in the attached pic.
i have heard of people doing this for what i think was to stop the flage from warping or something
i know its prob been mentioned on here before but im looking for why its done and if it should be done

People do that to get a warped flange to seal properly. Personally, I would get warped flanges machined flat instead of cutting the flange.
