Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors

I have the UMI subframe connectors
http://umiperformance.com/catalog/in...roducts_id=127

No problems with the catback. The Y pipe was fine when I use 2." inch piping but when I went to 3" I had to cut and angle it a bit down by the brace to get it to fit.

Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors

The Spohn connectors give factory-like clearance to the y-pipe, which is where 90% of the problem is with subframes.

I run Spohn subframe connectors with 3" factory style exhaust, Hooker 2055 headers and y-pipe. Everything fits perfectly.

Honestly, I would sell those and buy Spohn or UMI or BMR subframe connectors. All of which fit stock exhaust and no cutting the subframe is required.

Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors

I undererstand. I just would hesitate before cutting ANY of the subframe on your car. Congrats on 600whp though, that's impressive! And yes, that does demand you install some kind of sub frame connectors.
