FYI....The "IROC" hood (any hood with the louvers), are the same. Just the blisters & louvers are the only difference.

Stephen you sure about that? I mean it makes sense but I never thought the actual holes and everything was exactly the same.

Re: WANTED: 1991-1992 z28 Hood (Just the Hood Not Blisters)
I sold a 86 IROC hood to a 92 B4C owner, who promptly tossed the louvers & put the blisters on.
Not sure if the mounting holes matched, but would be easy to drill new holes if needed anyways.
I do know those 82/83 "scoop" indentions, no louvers, hoods have a different shape, so the louvers & blisters don't match up.

If it will work I have an 87 Iroc Hood, just needs some paint. Make me an offer if interested.

Hey guy I think that the hood are different. Here is a picture of an Iroc hood up close. Notice that the edge of the hood where the louvers are inserted is raised up. This is not the case with the z28 hoods. There is raised ridge.

I'm not selling anything here, so I have zero to gain from "claiming" this. I'm simply stating a past experience.

It kinda appears to me...The 91/92 blisters are bigger than the IROC louvers & might fit OVER the ridges....

Surely someone here has a blister & a louver (on or off a hood) and can compare them side by side.

Hey Stephen totally not calling a liar. I am just curious you know. Did you see any gaps after the guy put the blisters on the iroc hood?
I got 2 set of blisters in my garage. You maybe correct that the flap tucks under the blisters if the edge is hollow. Let me go and check.
I found a shot online.

Judging by those white pieces, it almost looks like the center drops lower, to fit in the IROC hole & the edges are raised to clear that raised lip.
The guy was a master at painting...I could read the wattage of the ceiling light bulb, reflected on the hood! Needless to say, the car was perfect & a mismatch of parts wouldn't have been acceptable to him
He's no longer into 3rd gens, but I'll see if I can dig up an old pic.

Well not sure where in nj you are located but I am right off of 78 not to far into PA so you could bring you're blisters with and try them on the hood if you would like.
