Firebird 82-84 tail lights and bumper cover

I am in need of the center filler piece for the 82-84 style lights. Willing to buy a complete light set if it's in good condition. Also need a front bumper cover with ground effects and holes for fog lights. Paint color is not a concern as long as the cover itself is structurally sound. Shipping to 37160. Thanks!!!

Edit: if you're less than five hours away from my zip I can come pick up.

Mine are T/A lights so the ones you have would match.

I've got 82-84 TA taillights too, but no matching TA center sections to offer you.

I have a complete set of 82-84 base bird lights. The center filler bird is cracked up a bit tho.

Nothing to special

Re: Firebird 82-84 tail lights and bumper cover

Another Blow-hard,....

I was doing some work on the car the other night and I discovered what I thought was just a small bubble in the paint was actually the last gasp of most of my passenger side rear fenderwell. Until I find a roller I'm gonna have to put a halt on everything,

It took me a couple days to document everything 'cause I could only stand up for 10-15 minutes at a time - he knew this. While KNOWING that I've only got 1 good leg he had me document 3 different sets of lenses for him, agreed to buy a set, had me completely pack them for shipping, then left me hangin' for almost 2 weeks. He blew me off to buy aftermarket gauges,... now he wants to wait to buy the lenses till after he buys another car.

SICK of getting the run-around. ( This is the 3rd time in 2-3 years he's requested this same kind of lights ) It's one thing to run around for other members when I'm healthy and then I get blown off - It happens all the time. But when a guy KNOWS I'm hopping around on 1 leg and has me do all this work, just to blow me off,... Ya'; I'm pissed.

Until I find a roller I'm gonna have to put a halt on everything, I have no idea what something in good shape is going to run me. Once I have one in my possession I'll get back up with you and buy those lights
No; These lights will not be waiting for you to get back to me. Forget my user-name.

Re: Firebird 82-84 tail lights and bumper cover

Really?

Of course I felt bad asking you to go through all that work, with a bad leg even, just to let you know I can't buy them right now. Which is why I sent you a PM explaining what was up, instead of ignoring you which is probably what an ACTUAL blowhard would've done. What do you want me to do? Buy them anyway? I don't even know if I'll be able to find a roller body, in which case the lights will do me no good. These cars aren't exactly common anymore, you know.

No, I didn't blow you off to buy aftermarket gauges. I've had them for a while. I couldn't find the answers I needed, so I posted a question on here. I wasn't aware that I needed to send you a message every time I log in on here. In hindsight, maybe I should've told you exactly what day I would be buying them, but considering that we were PMing on the order of about once a week I didn't really consider it to be a big deal, there didn't seem to be the sense of "rushing" about anything. Besides, I hadn't even given you a shipping address yet, so while they may be boxed up don't make it seem like the post office was waiting to release them to be delivered on your command. The last time we talked I had asked you for your Paypal info and that was about it.

I really am sorry if you feel slighted- although it seems my apology is about equal to a fart in a high wind to you- but I don't particularly care to be badmouthed. I promise you if I had any inkling that this car had as many problems as I've been finding in the last few months I wouldn't have bought it. The car had zero indication of any cancer when I got it. My rust problems are not "convenient". They may seem convenient to you because they prevented you from making $130, but I assure you, it isn't.

Yes, I have been looking for a good set of these style lights for a while. No, I haven't been talking to you about buying these lights for 2-3 years. Three years ago I was going to buy a set from another gentleman, but we found out around the time of purchase that my wife had a breast tumor and obviously we had to do something about that. Just another excuse, right?

I have purchased stuff from other people on the board with zero issues. I have also tried to purchase things from people from the board that would just stop replying once it got to the point where I was ready to buy, but I didn't get on the thread and start slandering those guys. I just assumed they didn't wanna fool with it or changed their minds. THAT is why I sent you a message explaining myself, because I feel I owe you at least that, because I didn't want to be that guy, but it looks like I'm that guy anyway.

Make of it what you will.
