Another tail light idea- with pic and ???s
So I've been looking into this red turn signal thing and some people do the reverse lights too. I was wondering if there was anything in the black filler part other than the license plate light. Has anyone ever put a 4x1.5 clear light in there for reverse lights. In my state I don't need reverse lights, but when I get my back glass tinted it sure wouldn't hurt to have reverse lights. I threw a picture together in paint and it looks pretty killer.

I'm thinkin about STS also, but I wanted to keep it legal. The corners have to be reflective for when your car is parked and not on so that other drivers can see it. Unless you wanted to put reflectors elsewhere...

it would still reflect like it does now, it would just flash as a 4th bulb with the turn signal as well.

Looks like it's trying to get closer to the look of a Mustang with the 3 red segments....
I like amber turn signals, so I would leave the tail lights alone, but if I was to do something like this I definitely would not move the reverse light.

I changed my turn signal lenses to red and wired a Trans Am tail light harness into it to make them both act as brake lights and turn signals like the TA's do. Only did half of the back up light so it illuminates both red and white when in reverse

There is nothing behind those black panels between the lights & license plate, other than the license plate lights. No reason you can't turn that section into a reverse Light.
Turn that into a Reverse light lens & either have 4 Reverse lights lenses for more light, or red out the stock ones to had more red for your tail lights.

I thought about this too last year. I drilled a hole and put a tag light housing facing backwards with a bright *** led bulb for temporary use when i switched to 3 bulb sequentials. Now I have 2 led strips on the bottom of the plate.
