can i use a xdp fuel sump for a gravity feed fuel system
I was looking at the edelbrock e street efi return style setup but it said that you need to gravity feed to the fuel pump and I don't want to do a weld on fuel sump for it because of time and money and my lack of welding skills. so I did a little research on fuel sumps and was looking at a xdp non drop out fuel sump that diesel truck run. please somebody let me know if this product will somewhat fit my needs for the gravity feed fuel system here is a link to the xdp fuel sump http://www.xtremediesel.com/xdpblack...opinstall.aspx

The only problem i see with that is it only has one outlet.
That would only be an issue if you are running a dedicated nitrous fuel system.
Otherwise i like it..................just be sure to put it at the lowest hanging point of the tank rather than in the middle like they show on their site.

ive got access to the top but you don't need to with this because of the horse shoe design.

The reinforcement is designed as a horseshoe so that it can be insalled through th same hole you drilled for the sump............thats why they say no need to drop tank.
Just slip the opening of horseshoe on tank edge and roll it into the tank.........thats why i like it....
You just gotta be VERY careful to get ALL shavings from the hole saw out of the tank..
ShopVac and a good magnet..............
