I have had this car for about 2 years now. Been playing with the idea of getting something newer. Here is very thing I know about it.
The motor has about 10K on the rebuild. Runs like a top. Does not leak a drop. The car has 108,000 on it. It is an original L98 car. The heads were gasket matched with a three angle valve job. It as 1.6 roller rockers and the TPI plenum was gasket matched also. The runners a are AS&M 1 3/4" big tube runners. SLP headers and y pipe with no smog. It still has the stock cam and lifters. Adjustable fuel reg. and metal dis. cover. The car comes with two computers, one is the stock computer and chip. The other is a Prominator Programmable computer. I have the stock one in it due to not wanting to mess things up. All the options work including cruise. AC power locks and windows.
The interior is black with forth gen power leather power seats and they do work. It is a digital dash car. The outside is Bright red re-painted in 99. Its original color was fire red with Tan interior.
Just this year I have done the following. I gave it a complete tune up, plugs, wires, coil, cap, rotor, brakes, new rear calipers, all new energy rear bushings, energy torque arm bushing, tail shaft seal, all the fluids including brake fluid, new header gaskets, u joints, polished the drive shaft (I was bored), umi lower control arms, edlebrock pan hard bar, and a flowmaster muffler, and new AC Parts. Now the most expensive, the 9 bolt rear-end was also rebuild. I re-used the 3:27 ratio, but it got a NEW POSI. Yes it was expensive but I wanted to keep it original. It took a while to get from over seas! New bearings and seals through out.
damn ive always wanted a gta, but all ive got to offer is my 87 iroc project car with a **** load of parts but idk if you would be interested in a project.

hey do happen to know were u got you're differential repaired cause i have a 9 bolt borg warner too and woul like to know how much it was to reapair and the location of this place or if it has website i can go to let me know
