1991 GTA Trans Am
I have a GTA that only has 18,900 miles, most of these miles was from 1/4 mile passes and street racing from the time it was new. Of course now, all that kinda fun is gone. The car is white with tan leather interior which is nice. The bolster on driver seat is the only show of wear at all, the rest is like new. It has a four point cage and covered with matching leather, looks really good. All the nitrous equipment is hidden, have fogger set-up but not installed under the hood at this time. Has progressive controller, purge, bottle heater etc. It has a moser 9" w/axles and 4:10 gearing and detroit locker w/disc brakes too. Air bags in rear coils. Custom made cross member and trac-bar to adjust pinion angle. Battery relocated to rear. Has 16" x 8" centerline wheels. I have a .040 over 400 with steel crank, 6" aluminum rods, ross forged pistons and dart heads complete with custom made intake and accel stand alone computer thats tunable with laptop. Hooker Super comp headers and super trapp mufflers. Custom fiberglass hood made for the intake to have real ram air. Probably more, but I have to many toys and something has to go. I've got alot of older rides too. Whatever sells first goes. I have alot of money in this car and can't give it away, but I'll sell with or without the motor, since I just set it in the car resently, not wired up yet. The car has always been garaged, so no rust, just minor scratches from years of being in the garage with other items. Can't figure the pictures out, so pm if you are interested in it. I have a few with me, anything specific I'll have to take this weekend when I'm home. It's not a have to sell situation, so please don't low ball me. I need 10,000 out of it as it sets. 8,000 without motor.

Re: 1991 GTA Trans Am
My friend help make it, he made body panels for porshe and sold them...we put the air scoops in after he brought the hood out of the mold. He has since closed his business and sold most of the equipment. The car was fairly new when this was made. I'll have to check and see if he has any molds left or anything left to make one. He has changed his number since I last talked to him, but I know where he lives. I'll let ya know if catch him home.

I REALLY like it. And, functional?! Please keep me posted as I would be willing to pay a fair price for that. BTW, GLWS. And, I'll buy the hood if you decided to part it out.

Yeah, I guess times are tough...it's still for sale. I'm in southeast Ohio, the town is called Racine. You'll have to get the magnifying glass out to see it on the map...Look for the boot looking area on the map, that's where I am.

Re: 1991 GTA Trans Am
Haven't been on here in a while, job changes and life in general has thrown a few curves...
I haven't found the guy that helped with the hood yet. He moved also and I haven't been around town anyway. I've been running all over the country chasing work and don't always have internet access.
Sorry I missed your post on the Chevelle trade also.
The car is still available and not much has changed because I've spent the the last year in Texas and Indiana. So if I don't reply quickly, you are more than welcome to text me on my phone...74O-4I6-I497..Thanks Scott

I'll give you $1K plus the hood off my car for that hood and the pieces involved in making it functional.

Re: 1991 GTA Trans Am
Well that sounds like a good deal, but it's not as simple as it sounds. I have a custom intake that positions the filter directly behind the scoops. The intake started out as a dual carb tunnel ram. It was machined down and injector bosses added. I really think Holley took the idea and made the stealth ram from our design, which is good cause no one made anything like it at the time. (We had them plumb a fogger kit on it, that's how they saw it). So to make it functional on your car, we would have to make a duct for it or a stealth ram or similar. So after all that, the 1k isn't really feasible for me. But I do appreciate the interest. I'll see if I can find my friend this weekend and maybe we will start making some and come up with a duct system to make them functional on stock intakes.

Re: 1991 GTA Trans Am
I ran by the guys garage that helped with the hood. He is still doing work out of there, but didn't catch him there once again. But atleast I know he's still around, so whenever I quit having to work so much overtime, I'll see if I can catch him and see what we can do about making a few of these for guys thats interested.
