I have the same car, only hard top, 5.7 and auto. Right now it's a lawn ornament waiting to be revived (of which I'm hoping to start this winter).

I really shouldn't visit the forums when I don't have money to spend. This is exactly what I'm looking for in a project car, but I won't have the money or storage space for a project car until closer to the summer. I hope you find a buyer before you have to resort to Craigslist!
If you are still looking to unload it in February and haven't resorted to CL, I might be able to make an offer.

Haha.. I hear ya. Finding cars on the internet has ruined my bank account. If it's still here KnightZero by then you get first dibs. Coyotesa, sorry man...but the south and west have all the nice cars anyway.

What an awesome car that was when it was new, it's got it all. That's the one worth fully restoring.

Car: 1989 IROC-Z28

Transmission: MD8 - 700R4
Axle/Gears: GH3/G80 - 2.77 POSI
I have a lot of BS I'm paying off the next couple months and finally finishing my iroc. I need to see where the dust settles but if you were willing to take around $2000, maybe $2500 in a couple months if it doesn't sell, we may be able to work something out...
I'm in ohio, I'd just come get it. I'd want more pictures too, especially of the rusty floor. I can weld but not a fan of it. Lol

I floated to idea by my wife, as I want the car for my younger son. The iroc is for my older son. She wasn't moved by the idea but we shall see. Like I said, it wouldn't be for a couple months anyhow so by all means, don't hold it for me.

What did you get for it...
I just found out only 164 GTAs came with the 5 speed in 1991.
Hope you did ok. Lol.

Eh... I didn't get what I wanted. Got 2/3rds of the asking price. The buyer was someone outside of the forum who came to buy a different car I was selling. Told him about the issues it had but he didnt nitpick. As soon as he heard it run he was convinced it was going home with him.lol
