I believe all of the 1LE's, and the TTA's came with it... Other than that I do not know.

Well if your 88-92 steel shaft was vibrating and you were still under warranty, then GM would replace it with an aluminum one.
Some GTA's and Formula's also came with the JG1 shaft.

That would make sense . I have a Black 88 I-roc and a buddy of mine had a maroon one . He was complaining about a hard thumping on the underbody in reverse so we changed the tranny mount and i noticed he had an aluminum shaft and i thought they only came on the 1LE

A bud of mine with a 92vert with a 305tpi/700r4 has the jg1 and it is a TA.

lol no.. i got the cam from a friend of mine it was a few years old and he got it from comp cams(doesnt remember the part num or the specs, but its quite radical) used it for about a month threw a rod and took it out and put it in the box-o-parts.. when i got the car it was a 6 cy (someone couldnt figure out how to properly set valve lash and rounded off some cam lobes) so my friend offered it to me for free.. so in it went problem solved car runs like a raped ape
