Performance Suspension badge?
I'm curious if anyone knows which suspension package came with the dash badge denoting "Performance Suspension"?

Really never a big deal in car's ride, just a harsh and very uncomfortable ride through third world Miami streets. Andrew

Re: Performance Suspension badge?
Basically it boils down something like this. From 1987 & Up ALL Formuals, Trans Am's & GTA's got the badge. The Formula and GTA got the WS6 standard and the Trans Am got the FE1 standard, the WS6 was an option.

I think I was thinking Olds at the time they had the FE1, FE3 suspensions... For some years I know that the Top suspension on the Camaro was the base suspension on the Trans AM and the WS6 was suposed to be one step up from that.

91 Trans Am (must be 92 as well) had F41 as base suspension. My friend checked her codes. It rides like a Caddy!

Re: Performance Suspension badge?
Actually there was a ride difference between Chevy & Pontiac, The Pontiac got the Gas filled struts, and I think Chevy got oil filled struts. The Gas filled struts would have given the Firebird (Formula TA GTA) a softer ride, but with the larger sway bar would have made up with cornering. The Pontiac is suposed to be slightly softer riding but handle equally.
Chevrolet from what I have been told wanted a firmer ride because they wanted to give more of a sporty feel.
This is what I have been told.
