Engine Options Misprint?
I was surfing and came across a camaro site that lists an engine option of a L311 6.6 litre 403ci small block for the 84/85 years .... I never heard of such a thing - is this a misprint, or was there such a beast from the factory?
http://www.welovecamaros.com/3rd_generation_camaro.html
Besides, I thought a 6.6 litre equated to a 455ci - wasn't that the motor in the Bandit T/A from 1977?

They may "love" Camaros, but they don't know them, apparently. LOL
You are correct, the 6.6 liter engine was not offered in passenger cars after 1979, and no thirdgen had anything bigger than a 350.
Both the Pontiac 400 and the Olds 403 engines displace 6.6 liters, and both can be found in second-gen Firebirds (not Camaros).
The Camaro was not offered from the factory with anything bigger than a 396/402 in the second gen (1970-72), and nothing bigger than a 350 in the third gen.
The Pontiac 455 engine (1970 thru 1976) is 7.5 liters. The Smokey and the Bandit '77 came with either the 400 or the 403.

Re: Engine Options Misprint?
That's what I thought - thx
The ex-wife had a 1977 Bandit T/A when I met her - that must have been the real attraction, 'cause after the car was gone, so was the love But man oh man did I love that car! It had the 6.6, and just was so much fun to drive!
