Car: 1985 firebird
Engine: 350 .40 over
Transmission: 5 speed borg(NWC), ram clutch
Axle/Gears: ROTATING MERCURY DRIVE.
1985 Firebird with stock ???sport suspension???
i have a 1985 firebird and in the interior on the lower right hand side of the dashboard it has a badge saying "sport suspension" i have tried to find out what this means( heavy duty ruber bushings stiffer sway bars??) any ideas ?????

yes i have the RPO code sheet that is stock and came with the car and i have downloaded the decipher... is this the only way to find out is go code by code untill one pops up with the info i am looking for???

yup its got the F41 code on the RPO sheet.. so i looked that up it says stiffer ride front rear... not to be picky is there a way to digg deeper and find out what that signifies???

yeah that helped out on understanding what gm was doing back then with testing steering stuff thanks.. so it could be springs and swaybar differences.. mhh sounds good even know i have replaced all that with new upgraded lol
