reference material
So, what do you guys use as reference material for third gen Camaro's
Here's what I have:
Camaro White Book
Camaro Buyers Guide
catalog of Camaro ID Numbers 1967-1993
From the Web:
Camaro Technical Data base
RPO codes from this sight
Specific to my year 1987:
Original window sticker
Owners manual
Showroom brochure
Shop manual w/ electrical diagnosis
Any other recommendations as to available books?
And of course Thirdgen.org

I think you pretty much have it covered.
Having the factory service manual and thirdgen.org have pretty much covered all the technical needs I have come across so far. I have the PHS package for my 83 TA, which is interesting to me but hasn't really been useful in the real world sense.
I also have:
Chilton's 82-85 firebird repair manual
Chilton's 82-90 firebird repair manual w/vacuum diagrams
Chilton's 82-92 camaro repair manual w/vacuum diagrams
Haynes Rochester Caruburetor Manual
Camaro Performance Handbook 1982-1992
How to Tune and Modify Your Camaro 1982-1998
If you have the factory repair manual, FORGET about any other repair books, unless you have a qjet, then get Doug Roes Qjet book (supposed to better than the Haynes).
The last two books listed are already dated (many of the companies/sources listed don't exist anymore) and you can get much better up to date info from this website.

My reference library is pretty nuts. Figure I've been hitting Barnes and Nobles frequently for the last 7 years, buying any and every book that has anything on the camaro/firebird. Dad has been doing the same since we bought the Iroc. So, I'd guestimate we have between 20 and 30 books. 3 of which are just dedicated to TPI, 3-5 detail various modifications and results, the rest are history books of the camaro/firebird, some on chevy with a page on the camar, etc... Then I've got factory documentation, in the form of owners manuals 83 cam, 87cam, 91 fire, 91 cam, vert supplement, and brochures everythign for the 91 firebird, the 87 cam brochure and the 91 cam brochure. And then I've got the PHS kit for my 91 formula, and a press kit from the 1990 autoshow with several editions of pontiac news in a nice portfolio with a white 91 formula on the cover. I've also got quite a few other odds and ends of factory documentation, like locking lug cards, and AMCOR cards, and blah blah blah...
Don't forget I've also got 7 office boxes full of Super Chevy, CHP, PHP, GMHTP, Camaro Performers, etc in the basement... oops, forgot Hotrod... Then of course I have my own notes and experiances...
